Hi Stephen,

There's http://www.teachertube.com, but I think something like VodPod will suit you better.

I'm going to start using Scouta, as you can also bookmark audio.

It's a pity because Podchains was quite unique...you wouldn't think it in this scene.

I was keen on using Podchains in my teaching this semester only to discover its untimely demise :-( As an alternative I'm using Kazivu to publish an RSS feed of video content drawn from YouTube, blip.tv etc. Seems to work nicely, just a pity it doesn't do audio.

No worries Chris, I'll just wait till it's online again.

I guess I should have read your blog post more thoroughly...I linked to it on my post at the last minute.

Hi, I'm very sorry this happened. For some reason I never received your email. We do still have all the data backed up and, as I mentioned in the blog post, we will be putting the bookmark service back up shortly. However, if you'd like to send me an email letting me know what format is best, I'd be happy to send over all the data you've added to your Podchains account.

I'm from the Ziki team and i'm glad you enjoy our product. I've experienced the same things with services i liked and who has disappeared suddenly. Hopefully i've aggregated the rss feed on my ziki too.
