Roundup : TwitterWho, TwitsLikeMe, SnapTweet, TwittNot, TweetDumpr
TwitterWho - type in an email address or name (one entry per line) and it will fetch you results.
Twitter IM command only allows you to type in a name you already know eg. Whois elsua
But the whole point is I may know someone’s full name but I can’t remember their Twitter user name…I want a command like this eg Finduser Luis Suarez.
At the moment you have to go to your Twitter account and click on view all Friends and right down the bottom is a search box to search name or location, here are some examples:
Suarez
Luis Suarez
Perth
Perth, Australia
Perth, Western Australia
BTW, see Twitterlocal and more to discover users in a given location.
TwitsLikeMe - recommends users based on similar tweets as you, also see Twubble.
SnapTweet - send your lastest Flickr photo to Twitter
TwittNot - collects tweets that answer the question “what are you not doing”, just send #not in your tweets
TweetDumpr - export your entire Twitter timeline to a CSV file, readable by any spreadsheet application
