i was an early adopter of pownce but have not used it much lately.
it did fit my needs the best and still does.  tumblr is my other preferred choice of tools (that are not my own custom tools).  

back when pownce was launched, i immediately looked for a bookmarklet.  i was surprised that one did not exist.  so i did toss together a little something for my own use.  reading your post tells me that their is still no bookmarklet for pownce, which is just shocking.  

anyway, my pownce bookmarklet has been up on this page so you might find it useful until a proper one is offered by the pownce team:
