Blogbar : search your outlink sources

Blogbar is the search box I use on my blog, visitors to my blog can search the web using numerous search engines, and they can also search my blog using Google, Technorati and Google Blog Search.

Well now they can also search my friends, no this isn’t searching my Reading List or Lifestream List, I’ve got that handled by a Google Custom Search box (others use Lijit-this also search your extended network eg. your friends, and your friends friends).

Instead what it does is search on all the blogs I’ve linked to in the past (it doesn’t exclude when I link to myself)…see more on searching your social filter.

So now I can search my bookmarks, search the blogs I read, and with BlogBar I can search my blog, and also search the blogs I link to.

Somehow related; how do I browse or search not blog sources I have linked to in the past, but blog posts I have linked to in the past, this is like the reverse of an ego search.

Now that I’m asking, I know I can do a link search against my blog to see blog posts who link to me, but how can I search in all these blog posts.

And a while back I was looking for a way to find if one of my past blog posts linked to a particular post from another blog. That is, I was reading a blog post, and I knew I had blogged about it before (linked to that post), but I just didn’t know in which of my posts I did this.
Tony Hirst offered AltaVista as the only choice, but I just realised that BlogRovr is the answer (provided your own blog is added in the feed set).
Just goto the website, and if you have linked to it in one of your past blog posts, it will let you know.
