					<description>Great post.  I've been thinking about using a private &quot;twitter-like&quot; server for presence posting in our small business.  Execpt I haven't seen anything out there that's a private twitter server that has presense specific features.

It would be nice to have system that are already in-place, such as an Exchange server, update the presence.  So if you have a calendar entry it would automatically be posted the the appropriate time.  Or if you have a WiFi enabled smart phone, you could have a server looking for it's MAC address on the network and it would automatically update if the user is in or out of the office.</description>
