Roundup: Satisfaction, Nouncer, Yappd, Twitku, Grazr Twitter Reader
Satisfaction is a social network forum; web 2.0 companies have their own page, and customers can get their own profile and create topic and post replies…add friends and all that jazz.
Tangler is another way for blogs or companies to have a forum around service, also comes as a widget.
Satisfaction is great exposure for companies, as while customers are posting about one company, they are a click away from finding another company to engage with, the aggregation of companies on one site makes it easier for all. And they are not merely fan sites, the actual companies make a company page, and their employees have profiles and answer questions.
I’ve noted before that companies can create a social network for their customers using Ning, like Mowser…a social network like this is within the community that is your customers, and communities are hard to form and hard to sustain.
The hard part these days, with social network fatigue, is getting someone to join yet another network, with Satisfaction, you join once and you have access to talk to lots of companies, not just one. As a consumer I would be more prone to join Satisfaction, rather than join a new social network for every company, aggregation just makes things easier, and it gathers a critical mass of people, where conversation is a plenty, just the intention.
Nouncer - create your own micro-blogging social network
Yappd - basically a presence blogging network like Twitter, but with images and email features. Other presence networks with images are NowThen, radar, hictu (video), Yodio, some Twitter workarounds are Twapper, tw3t, MobyPicture and VisualTwitter. [via m]
Twitku - not only post to either Twitter or Jaiku, or both at the same time, but view both streams on the one screen…brabblr and egorcast do a similar thing, brabblr is still invite only. [via TC]
Grazr Twitter Reader - the Twazr hack allows us to enter our Twitter username into Grazr to see our list of people we follow and details for each like latest Tweet and a further OPML link to people they follow and so on.
Grazr themselves have made a more complete Twitter tool as part of their initiative to build Grazr apps for specific services, the Grazr Twitter Reader has more features coming like posting and following people. [via Feedonomics]
