They have recently launched a new way of ranking the search trails in their system - TrailRank. I like that on trailfire I can leave a sticky note anywhere and have people leave me comments on that note. Also I like that Trailfire allows for your trail as they call them to be wiki, meaning I started a topic or search on something and other can contribute to it.
