Roundup : Blidget, Blerts, Teqlo, Turboflix, me.dium, Change.org, Crispyblogposts
Blidget - make a widget of your blog, you get stats and promote it in a gallery, for similar offerings, see here.
Great idea, this is what the new blog directory is, not just a link to a blog, but now you can take the blog with you…Technorati has a blog directory module, maybe they should include widgets for every blog.
Blerts - an RSS alert tool for your systems tray, see how it works. Touchstone has the power in this game…also see Alertbear, Taskable, and newsplorer.
Teqlo - DIY mashup, also see Dapper.
Turboflix - video email, see other mentioned in this post under EyeJot.
me.dium - visually see and chat with contacts and other users online, based on the sites you visit. Chatsum (also see Gabbly, Itzle, etc…) lets you chat with people looking at the same site as you, but me.dium takes this further by harvesting the sites you visit, and then placing you in a social context…seems to be based on the social behaviour of other chat recommendation sites like OthersOnline.
Change.org - a social network, and blog network similar to citizen journalism sites like Newsvine, but dedicated to the topic of social activism…I really like the idea of topic based News 2.0 sites.
Change.org isn’t neccessarily tied to news, where blog networks like Sponit, Gather (also has groups like Changes.org) and Loopnote are for general information, Change.org is topic based…I like the idea of mini-blogospheres.
Crispyblogposts - social bookmarking limited to blog posts, in beta at the moment, check out some screenshots on their blog.

Hi -
I noticed your mention of eyejot and turboflix and thought I’d make you aware of another free video email service with lots of functionality that no one else provides. gabmail requires neither download nor registration and you can freely send unlimited numbers of videos of up to 2 minutes. (btw, we’re about to ramp that up to 5 minutes any day now.) We thread every message so that, with every ongoing conversation, you can access any previous video with a single click. We also enable you to send your messages using your preferred email client or webmail program so that you’re not locked in to a proprietary system. We also include a collaborative component called gabjam that is a simple yet powerful tool that encourages and enables community interaction.
Please let me know what you think! Best, Mark Lipsky.
