Gabmail : video for email
Gabmail allows you to use your webcam to record a video clip and will host it. Then you can place a link to this clip in an email…isn’t this just like linking to a YouTube clip.
I guess Gabmail is a place to record and host these video messages rather than using YouTube, which is more a generic service.
What needs to happen is that you can watch the video within your email, and this is what helloWorld exactly does.

Gabmail is a video email service. YouTube is not a video email service and its new ‘feature’ that allows webcam uploads takes forever for the video to show up. Plus there’s no way to review videos before they’re posted. Gabmail is instant with a viral component (Gabjam) that is collaborative and very pwerful. You can also review and re-record all you want. HelloWorld is a pyramid scheme and charges for every email sent. Gabmail is free no matter how many video emails you send. gigya is not a video email service. Gabmail is a video email service. gigya requires an account setup and login. Gabmail requires neither. As for flixn, finally, a service that provides video email. But…flixn forces you to use their proprietary email system to send emails. Gabmail allows you to use any email client or webmal service you want. it takes forever for a flixn email to be processed and received. Gabmail emails are processed and sent instantly. flixn doesn’t provide an easy way to reply to or forward a flixn email. Gabmail does. flixn has no collaborative features. Gabmail does. flixn has no threading capabilities. gabmail is the only video email service that threads messages for easy review of video email conversations. just my .02

Followup on flixn: it doesn’t take flixn forever to process. it just seems to wind up in your spam folder.
