Another very good Q&A service not metioned in this review is FixYa.com.
Fixya's focus is repair & support and it is a great source to find all the information you need on consumer electronics.

John, great review, thanks! I learned a lot from reading your post.

We actually do have RSS feeds on specific topics, but it turned out that the icon wasn't visible in the page - sorry about that, it should be fixed in a day or two.

Until then, if you point your RSS reader at the relevant Explore page, it should be able to find the feed just fine.

For example, the food for "Web 2.0" is at http://yedda.com/questions/tags/web+2.0/recent/feed/?format=rss2.

You noted that the replies aren't threaded, as you noticed, the "threading" information is kept internally - we're looking at the possibility of adding a "show threaded conversation" view to the page.

Great points about sending a question to a contact or a group of contacts, we'll be adding more options to make this easier in the near future. The "send to a group" idea is great; we'll try to add that too, thanks!

You mentioned that you'd like to see the contact tags for you, your contacts etc - it's on our list, we're working on some cool new ways to browse your contacts, questions, answers and more. Stay tuned :)

Asking an individual a direct question - I agree, this is missing, we're looking at this carefully - we need to make sure that we can do this effectively with violating the individual privacy.

You mentioned that you'd like to know more about the person from their profile - we'll be adding some cool stuff in that area soon (yes, we've got a long todo list, it's never boring around here :).

Really enjoyed your review, thanks again!
