Grazing TagJag at Grazr via YubNub

Wow, 3spots points to an automated way to graze Tagjag (fomerly gada.be).

YubNub allows you to set certain terms to open web pages, eg. type in the letter g and it launches to the Google homepage.

Well what about typing in a term to create an OPML Tagjag and graze it in Grazr all in one hit…mighty impressive.

If you want to search the term “folksonomy” in heaps of web search engines, blog search engines, social bookmark search engines, etc…you can do it all in the one go at Tagjag…each section offers a spliced feed and an OPML.
Then you would take the OPML of this search and graze it in Grazr.

Now you can do all this in a extremely automated way from a YubNub search command.

eg. grazjag folksonomy

This automatically creates a grazr for your search…here’s the result.

Takes me back to the automation idea of my Ego grazing post, and blog tag grazing.

Bumpbox : blog post voting

3spots points to Bumpbox, simply add voting to your blog posts.

The bonus is that posts people vote on will be collected in a community content stream (the Top Bumped Links page).
This is kind of like a decentralised memedigger, the voting is done elsewhere, but the posts are collected into a news stream.

You can also see a stream of votes for all posts on your blog…here’s mine…I voted on one of my posts, a bit cheeky ;)
If this had an RSS feed, I could then follow which posts of mine are being bumped in my RSS Reader, I could also re-syndicate it like a popular posts widget on my sidebar.

The only downside is that people have to register to be able to vote, although this may not be a downside, as it will prevent quick spamming.

If people do register this means they get their own user space, just like any other memedigger…see all the posts you have bumped in your blogosphere travels.

[ADDED 05/08/06: No longer have to register to vote]
