I very much share your concern that archiving a blog is not a trivial matter for the average blogger.  As to the question of whether the tOKo outline is just an outline: it is not.  Clicking on it you'll see the content (whether it is post or comment).

You linked to my post about weblog archives and your interest sparked me thinking again about how I implemented them.

I'm changing my scheme slightly to integrate the archive more clearly into the weblog. I'll still write a daily RSS file but this will go with the daily archive HTML file. However I will now add a link tag from the daily archive and each entry page to the RSS archive for that day.

This will complement the weblog.opml file which will act as a master archive (and is already linked from the blog home page).</description>
