Please change to my Feedburner feed
Hi All,
I’ve decided to just offer my Feedburner feed on this blog…if you are already subscribed to my Feedburner feed then you don’t have to do anything.
If you are subscribed to one of my alternative feeds, this is the feed to follow:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/LibraryClips
I’ve also burned a comments feed:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/LibraryClipsComments
If you aren’t into feeds, you can always use the FeedBlitz email subscription box for both posts and comments.
I might give a week or so for people to change over to the Feedburner feed.
In the future I may also offer excerpts and headline feeds for both post feeds and post email subscriptions…check out the great posts by Improbulus:
Feeds: partial or full? How to have both
Feedblitz: full and partial email subscriptions for your blog posts
Feeds: how to enable autodiscovery for both full and partial feeds
As improbulus mentioned you will have 3 different sets of statistics for your blog, as you offer 3 feeds…it would be good to merge these or at least merge them into one chicklet (the button that tells you how many subscribers you have).
[ADDED: These are the feeds I’m getting rid of:
http://libraryclips.blogsome.com/feed/rss2/
(Currently 216 subscribers in Bloglines)
http://libraryclips.blogsome.com/feed/rdf/
(Currently 7 subscribers in Bloglines)
http://libraryclips.blogsome.com/feed/rss
(Currently 5 subscribers in Bloglines)
http://libraryclips.blogsome.com/comments/feed/rss2/
(Currently 5 subscribers in Bloglines…this is a comments feed)
At the moment I have 661 subscribers to my Feedburner feed, so I’m hoping that this will jump to 900 after the transition…I suppose this will be higher as Bloglines is not the only RSS Reader on the market.
[ADDED: the next day my subscriptions dropped to 370, a few days after it is at 410 (Feedburner stats are sometimes bizarre), yet my native feed is at 210 (only dropped/changed 6 subscribers in Bloglines)]
[ADDED 29/03/06: Feedburner stats are 715, yet my native feed stats within just Bloglines is 206..hmmm]

Hi John, hope you’ve sorted out everything with the conversion now. Thanks for the mention an links.
Many of my subscribers seem to have switched to the full feed (and hopefully new readers will have subscribed too), when I decided to provide one.
The separate statistics is an issue but I just add them up if I need to know… Feedburner did tell me they were planning to enable us to merge them in future, I don’t know when.
