Findory Tagcloud for your blog
Findory will show an excerpt version of the latest posts from your blog, it will also list related blogs, and related articles (including an RSS feed and a re-syndication code), and also a neighbourhood.
I haven’t read Rojo for about a week, so this may be old news, but I just noticed Findory Tags (a tag cloud of common words for your blog).
It seems to do a similar thing to TagCloud, creates a cloud of the most common used words in your blog posts.
Then what it does is just create a search in Findory Blogs for each of these terms, so when you click on a term in your tagcloud, it is just like doing a search, so you will see posts from other blogs as well as your blog.
What a great discovery tool, it’s kind of like Technorati Tags, but it isn’t based on user defined tags, it’s based on machine based tags.
So Technorati enables you to discover other blog posts that have used the same tags or categories as you, whereas Findory enables you to discover other blog posts that have used the same words as you in your posts.
Now to put a link to this on my sidebar, it would be great if I could put this tagloud within my sidebar
I wonder if there is a way in Findory to limit searching to posts just from your blog.
