Spin spy: political bookmarking

SpinSpy is similar to Digg, Reddit, and Shoutwire, the difference is that you can extend your voting by putting a spin, giving your vote some context…this bookmarking service is more focused on political news items.

Besides users bookmarking news items, it seems some items are also populated by the system feeds (re-syndicating major news feeds)…you can also add comments.
There is a buddylist page where you can add other users to your list, this way you can view their latest posts, as well as see their buddies…there is also an IM channel.

An encouragement to use this system is made by providing a user point system, here is the user ladder…there is also a general statistics page to view the SPIN.
