First, the outline being rendered is in OPML format. Moreover, it is being dynamically generated by NewsGator or PodNova (depending on which you're looking at). So, when I change my subscriptions, my sidebar automatically updates. No refresh button necessary! You're right that I should add a little javascript to enable expanding/collapsing the folders (or categories, as you called them). I just haven't had the time. Also, you should look at what <a href="http://glodal.net/" rel="nofollow">Kosso</a> is doing with OPML and Flash -- amazing!
