Latest bitty from Corante Web Hub

I’ve added a little icon on my blog underneath the Corante Network badge, when clicked this launches a small browesr with the latest posts from the Corante Web Hub (network posts), the Bitty Browser is a nifty little tool.

So you can:
- see the latest entries from a feed, URL, tag of your choice (plenty to choose from the drop-down menu…it’s kind of like a meta-utility search)
- see the latest entries from a selection in the menu directory
- search Google
- re-syndicate a feed, so the latest entries are always showing

What I’d like to do is personalise the directory, so I can have my own set of categories, each containing several feeds, maybe importing an OPML file with feeds already filed in folders.

  1. There’s no reason you cannot take the individual feeds right now and do that. It would take a bit of work though. How are your programming skills?

I’ve been thinking of doing something like that too.

  2. Bud,

If you are refering to personalising the bitty browser menu, I have very low pretty much non-existent programming skills.

I really like the fact that this menu could be your blogroll, but with this blogroll you could click on a blog feed and see the latest right within the bitty browser without the user leaving your website…kind of like a live or active blogroll.
