					<description>actually we tried to achieve that in newsisfree - popularity of an item is calculated by a mix of feed popularity and item popularity. work there is currently suspended as we put all available resources into making the reader better (beta at http://www.newsisfree.com/pages/power)  -  but will be resumed for sure. suggestions on ranking welcome :)) main problem with taking over rankings from other sites: articles haven't got an unique id which is cross-aggregator compatible. that's the reason we're currently going with a nif-based ranking</description>
