SuprGlu: newsmaster delight!
SuprGlu is a great way to display your newsmastering talents.
How it works?
Whack in all your source RSS feeds…if you need to remix feeds do this beforehand using a service such as Feed Digest.
That’s all it takes, now you have a blog that is automatically populated with content from various RSS feeds…the sources that populate the blog are listed on the sidebar.
The way it is promoted is for a place to display your web 2.0 daily movements…many of us have many accounts: our blog, social bookmark, photo sharing, etc…by placing the RSS feeds of our accounts into Suprglu you generate a running blog of your web2.0 daily interactions.
But obviously you can create your own topic blogs, as it accepts any RSS feed.
Other ways:
Re-syndicate RSS-to-HTML to a blog via Feed Digest (eg. CCTE)
Superblog (eg. folksonomy)
Blogdigger group
Bloglines Public
KickRSS
Fyuze
Daily Rotation
InfoAgent
PlanetPlanet (eg. Planet IM)
SimpleAggregator (eg. LISfeeds)
FeedWordpress (eg. rss tools)
Chumpologica (eg. Planet Web 2.0)
Only limit is that your Suprglu blog lacks an RSS feed, I’m sure if we follow their blog they will update us when this becomes available.
I guess another limit is that you can’t access the template to play around with the look of your SuprGlu blog or add stuff to the sidebar.
There is also a comments feature for every post, not sure if I agree with this, as comments should be made at the native source, otherwise how does the owner know to respond…see related post.
Here’s my SuprGlu blog, I only have 2 sources so far…you don’t really need Suprblog as you can already splice a blog’s Feedburner feed with the feeds from all your other web2.0 accounts, but then your blog may get polluted with unrelated stuff…this may bother some of your readers, so SuprGlu or any of the other alternatives are a great alternative.
