there is in my opinion still a need for a bookmarking service wich also goes into the area of reference taking / note taking service - like if Zotero was an online webservice

And no, the slow and clumsy payservice evernote is no sollution. There is no bookmarking/notetaking service woth the name yet.
Google notes is good for webclips. But not very organized. 

Jetpack is of course not the ansver, but when we wait is a handy underrated little tool, like a trailfire without the emphasis on web-annotations</description>
