Todd Slater has customized Scuttle-edu  so that it automatically adds grade and subject as tag (that's what I understand from http://idea.zanestate.edu/archives/2005/08/announcing-scuttledu/ ).  If you treat these tags preferentially, you get a kind of faceted browsing emulated by tags.</description>
