rssWatcher

Yet another tools that filters for search terms across a number of selected feeds.

From the website:

“rssWatcher is a site that allows you to create a custom set of searches against a number of RSS feeds. rssWatcher will monitor these feeds once an hour, and if a match is found will send an email. Matches will be stored so can retrieve them later.”

This is what I wish Bloglines could do, but at the moment the search is across your whole subscription, and not just a selection of feeds…although notification is by RSS feed.

Actually I just had a thought, you could sign up for rssWatcher with a Bloglines email, so you can be notified in RSS instead of email.

See here for other tools, plus the RSS engines, and RSS Readers.
