Google News does RSS

Here is the link to RSS feeds in Google News.

I didn’t really use the email alert feature, instead I used the 3rd party services for RSS alerts

…but now Google News has finally implemented RSS feeds…hooray!

3 types of feeds

Sections feeds

Search feeds

Google Customised News page feed

(wow, you can get a feed for my Customised Google News page…I wonder if you could get a feed from just a section in my Customised Google News page)
This is kind of similar to getting a feed for your whole Bloglines account (OPML)

  1. Finally! Having news alerts e-mailed to me never really interested me but having them as an rss feed! Ahhh, thank you Google! And thank you for bringing them to my attention – going to add them to my feed reader now.
