del.icio.us filtered

del.icio.us filtered is a way to filter out seeing the same bookmark again and again in your RSS reader (which can be very frustrating).

I’d like this type of filter for Yahoo! News vs. Google News…both these news sources cover the same stories or URL’s quite often, but I subscribe to both their feeds as they do have unique content.

It would be good if I could run my 10 Yahoo! News and 10 Google News RSS feeds through a filter and generate a “No duplicates RSS feed”…anyone!

…or can this be done within the RSS Reader, sometimes I’ve noticed that an item in Newsgator Online has a duplicates link (not sure what this means).

NOTE: there is duplication anyway due to different newspapers re-syndicating the same stories…although I think Google News tries to collapse these items.
