Public RSS readers and aggregators are great for keeping up to date on news headlines, articles or stories about any industry or niche you may be interested in following.

I think in the future and as mobile search becomes more popular that we will see several niche aggregators released and blended with news and trends from many different sources.

I have been experimenting with this type of information delivery and because of it came Search Engine Feeds. I keep search engine feeds free and available to anyone who wishes to stay up to date and current on search engine industry news and happenings. I originally built the site to cater to ME alone, but the archive is so big I might as well share it with anyone else who wishes to use it!

Custom RSS being read on mobile devices like cell phones will be here before you know it! Mobile SEO and blog development will be crucial for site owners that hope to be discovered this way.

You might find drupal interesting. Probably not to hard to install, it has a feature that allows you to have feeds in the news aggregator and then very easily post entries to a blog.
