Name the bookmark!
So many social bookmarking applications that I use…trying to figure what content I’m putting into each of them.
My past habit shows that I’m using:
Furl (johnt) to bookmark lots and lots of stuff
del.icio.us (johnt) to bookmark more specific stuff on blogs, tags, wiki’s etc (also duplicated in Furl)
Bloglines clipblog (LIS daily) to bookmark stuff only from my Bloglines reader (even though you can write your own posts)…if the post I clip refers to another link then I clip that in either Furl or del.icio.us. So LIS daily is precisely my best from my Bloglines (johnt) account.
CiteULike (johnt) is planned to be used for my favourite posts and articles from my other accounts.
I’m also using another del.icio.us (library clips) account as a back up for this blog, and one of the tags is “mycomments” which collects all my comments made on other blogs.
Wow, what can I use Spurl for…I think I’ve run out of steam….
Cogdogblog’s mega bookmarklet sure comes in handy…I wonder if the Bloglines clip blog can be added to this tool.
