What happened to Swiki?

Does anyone know what happened to Swiki, it seemed to go down a couple of weeks ago.

It’s the only wiki platform I’ve ever tried (mainly because it was web-hosted and it was free). Seedwiki also seemed relevant for my requirements being free and web-hosted…it actually looks a bit better of the two, the only reason I didn’t use it was because it stipulated that if your wiki was idle for over 30 days it would be deleted - something to that effect anyway.

Well I got to enjoy my wiki for a day at least!…was to my surprise when I showed the staff I was training, that the training documentation was available on the web…clicking on it with no response (lucky I made a Word version)

  1. The seedwiki thing is pretty uncool — I setup one, they then changed the address, then I guess I let it go 30 days. I didn’t get any notice or anything and now they want $20 to reactivate my free account! I’m sorry to hear that swiki’s going the same way.
Alas, do we have to wait for google to buy one of the companies?
