RSS feed for recent bookmarked posts…

Just to add to my previous post you could add an RSS feed on the side bar of your blog for "recently bookmarked posts of posts on your blog" on del.icio.us via DURL

I also like the little button on the DURL page that acts as a counter for the number of times your post has been bookmarked by a particular service

Wordpress, bookmarks, rss, java…stir the pot

Thanks to a nifty idea via the forum from dose magazine…you can set up a tag on a social bookmark manager such as del.icio.us for comments you make on other blogs, I called mine "mycomments"and put the rss feed of this tag through a rss to javascript conversion such as RSS-to-Javascript. Then put this code in your template under an appropriate heading in your side bar.

Then I thought I can do this for recent comments people leave at my blog (I’ve just started this blog so I hope this feature isn’t already included in the package)..don’t need del.icio.us just grab your comments RSS 2.0 from your blog and put it through RSS-to-Javascript and add it to the template.

Not sure if blogsome supports trackback and if it does set up most recent trackbacks, I suppose I’d have to go to the posts who sent me a trackback save them to an appropriate tag in del.icio.us and so on…

Even if it doesn’t support trackback I could post all the citations links that I plan to track (in my Bloglines feed reader) from Technorati, Pubsub, and Bloglines and post these to a tag in del.icio.us and so on…or even better, if you don’t really use the "Bloglines clip blog" for anything else, clip your citations from the reader to the clip blog and put the clip blogs RSS feed into RSS-to-Javascript and so on….my head is starting to hurt!!
